The register on the teacher's phone
A teacher opens today's lesson, taps each student Present, Late or Absent, or marks the whole class present with one button. The register saves in one go, against that lesson, with who took it and when. Reopening it shows what was saved, so a mistake can be corrected.
The register lists the students enrolled in the class on that date. A student who joined in week 4 is not marked absent for weeks 1 to 3.

Your dashboard shows how many lessons from the last seven days still have no register, so you can ask the right teacher before the week is forgotten.
The record when someone asks for it
Export attendance for any student or class group, for any date range, as PDF or CSV. Each export carries the counts, the percentage and, in words, the rule that produced the percentage, so two people cannot read the same file two ways.
Rollbook is not a compliance system. It does not calculate visa thresholds and does not report to UKVI, ISD or any other body. It keeps your attendance records tidy, so you can answer the question in a minute.
